Sambo Targets Two million Votes for Jonathan in Kaduna

Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo has expressed optimism that he will garner at least 2 million votes for his boss, President Goodluck Jonathan in the forthcoming 2015 Presidential election.
The Vice President made the pronouncement on Sunday during a unity and family meeting of the Kaduna State Chapter of the PDP which took place at Hassan Usman Katsina House, Kawo, Kaduna.

Alhaji Sambo said his expectation is based on “the overwhelming support” the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) enjoyed in his home state, Kaduna.

He also expressed optimism of a sweeping victory for the incumbent governor, Mukhtar Yero, and his party, the PDP, in the forthcoming 2015 gubernatorial election in Kaduna,

He said: “Kaduna State PDP is the same and one strong family, and I’m happy for the promise they’ve kept and for the promise they’ve made to us, that Insha Allah, PDP is Kaduna State and Kaduna State is PDP.

“PDP will win the elections come 2015. It’s only PDP today in Nigeria that has its presence in the state, local government, ward and polling unit levels. This representation is full and strong all over the federation.”

In conveying President Jonathan’s gratitude to Kaduna members of PDP for their support during the just conducted national convention of the party, he said: “Every one of our party members that participated in our primary agree that it is only one person that can be a winner and they’ve agreed to cooperate and work together.”

He concluded by urging all members of the party in the state to join hands and work for the victory of the party during the forthcoming 2015 general elections.
